PVC Lined Column Formwork — Architectural - Grade Finish for Exposed Concrete

Where a column will be left exposed — in a foyer, car park, façade, or feature structure — a standard formwork finish isn’t good enough. PVC lined column formwork uses an internal lining system inside the tube to produce a smooth, uniform, architectural-grade off-form concrete finish, without the cost of a separate rendering or finishing trade.

FAQFrequently Asked Questions

What is a “lined” column form?

A lined column form is a standard PVC column formwork tube fitted internally with a lining layer that produces a smoother, more consistent concrete surface once stripped, suited to architecturally exposed columns.

There is a modest premium over standard column formwork, but it is generally offset by reduced finishing, patching, and rendering costs after the pour.

It should be requested at the time of ordering, as the lining is applied during manufacture of the tube.

Yes, lined finishes are available across the same diameter range as our standard column formwork, including larger diameters manufactured through our Queensland facility.
